IL Barney entertained the Parsonage Circle No. 1 of the Oconee Street Methodist church on Thursday nftcr- neon at their home on Lumpkin street. This occasion was among the most mloyablc social affulrs of the week, it being St. Patrick's day everything was very beautifully planned for a Joyoua St. Patrick's party. Mrs. Callahan and Mrs. Barney re ceived their gnosis In the living room, which was ho artistically decorated with pretty pot plants. Each guest was given a dainty little shamrock as they arrived. The meeting was opened with a prayer, led by Miss Mina Kinney. After the roll call and other busi ness mattors were glvon attention, tlm ladles enjoyed nn Irish contest, which marked SI. Patrick's day also. Mrs l.lmehotise won the prize, a dainty grien silk handkerchief. A string contest wls another on- lovable feature of tho evening, creat ing much merriment. Mrs. 'Frank All good won the prize, a pretty St Pat rick's souvenir. A delicious Ice course waa Horvod and during the evening much beauti ful music waa enjoyed. Those present were: Mrs. Ed Stone.
