The petition of P. D. Taylor,
of the County of Fulton, said
State, C. E. Hutchins and Wilba
Moore of the County of Jackson,
said State, respectfully shows:
1. That they desire for them
selves, their associates and succes
sors, to be incorporated and made
a body politic under the name and
styvle of MOORE MULE COMPANY
for a period of twenty years with
the privilege of renewal.
2. The principal office of said
company shall be in the City of
Athens, Clarke <ounty, Georgia,
but petitioners _ desire to have the
right to establish branch offices in
this state or elesewhere whenever
the holders of a majority of .the
stock may so determine.
3. The object of said corpora
tion is pecuniary gain for itself
and its shareholders.
4. The business to be carried on
by ‘said corporation is that of
dealing in live stock, real estate,
lending money to be secured by
notes, bond, deed or otherwise, to
buy and own real estate and per
sonal property, to take the same
as security or otherwise and to do
generally any business connected
with barter and exchange for a
profit.
5. The capital stock of said cor
poration shall be three thousand
($3,000.00) dollars to be divided
in shares of one hundred dollars
each, with the privilege of in
creasing same to ten thousand
($10,000.00) dollars by a majority
vote of the stockholders. E
6. Petitioners desire to-have said
capital stock subscriptions paid in
money or in property at a fair
valuation.
7. That said capital stock has
been fully paid in.
8. Petitioners desire the right
to sue and be sued, to plead and
be impleaded, to have and to use
a common seal, to make all nec
essary by-laws and regulations,
and to do all other things that
may be necessary for the success
ful carrying on of said business,
including the right to buy and to
hold, and to sell real estate and
personal property suitable to the
purposes of the corporation, and
to execute notes, bonds or other
evidences of indebtedness incur
red, in the conduct of the affairs of
the corporation and to secure the
same by mortgage, deed or other
wise or any other form of lien,
under exsiting laws.
9. They desire for said corpora
tion the power and authority to
apply for and accept amendments
to its charter of either form or
substance by a vote of a majority
of its stock outstanding at ‘the
time. They also ask authority for
said incorporation to wind up its
affairs, liquidate and discontinue
its business at any time it may
determine to do so by a vote of
two-thirds of its stock outstand
ing at the time. |

county where the land lies, to the
highest bidder for cash, first giv
ing four weeks notice of the time,
terms and place of such sale by
advertising one a week for four
weeks in a paper published in said
county. Said sale will be made in'
pursuance of said power given ini
said deed. \
Any funds realized from the
sale of this property will be ap
plied first to the payment of any
indebtedness due Mrs. H. M.
Rylee, any expenses incurred in
the advertisement and sale of this
property, and the balance, if any,
will be paid to D. C. Rodeheaver.

name and style of Young Woman's
Christian Association of Athens
Georgia, for the full period of
twenty years, with the privilege of
renewal at the expiration of that
time.
4, The object of said corporation
shall be the spiritual, intellectual,
social and physical development of
young women.
5. Said corporation, when incor
porated, shall have the power and
authority to sue and be sued, con
tract and be contracted with, make
by-laws, not inconsistent with the
laws 'of the state, and to exercise
all other rights incident to such
corporations. It shall also be au
‘thorized to purchase, hold, rent,
lease, mortgage and sell property,
real and personal, and to contract
debts and secure the same by
‘mortgage, deed of trust, or other
wise, for the uses and benefits of
sald corporation.
6. The legal 'restidence of said
corporation shall be 'in Athens,
Carke county, Georgia. -
7. Petitioners affirm for said
new corporation and assume the
payment of any debts that may be
outstanding, business having been
carried on in ignorance of the ex
piration of said charter.
Wherefore petitioners pray:
1. That they be made a body

style aforesaid, entitled to all of
the rights, and subject to all of
the liabilities as now fixed by law.
