DON'T LET COMMON
* CONSTIPATION DULL
" THE JOY OF LIVING
Kellogg’s ALL-BRAN Brings
Relief ,
Constipation takes the sunthine
out of your days. It may bring
headaches, loss of appetite and
energyy sleeplessness, sallow skins,
pimples.
Fortunately, you can avoid this
condition by eating a delicious ce
real. Laboratory tests show that
Kellogg’s ALL-BRAN provides two
things needed to help overcome com
mon constipation: “bulk” and vita-
min B. ALL-BRAN is also a rich
source of blood-building iron.
The “bulk” in ALL-BRAN is much
like that of leafy vegetables. With
in the body, it forms a soft mass.
Gently, it clears out the intestinal
wastes,
How much better than dosing
yourself with patent medicines.
Two tablespoonfuls of ALL-BRAN
daily are usually sufficient. With
each meal in chronic cases. If se
riously ill, see your doctor— ALL~
BRAN is not a “cure-all.”
Get the red-and-green package
at your grocer’s. Made by Kellogg
in Battle Creek.
LEADERS TURN OUT
TO HONOR CHIEF ON
RETURN TO CAPITAL
(Continued From Page One)
“have been trying to get me to
say that I hoped congresg would
soon adjourn.
“But I wouldn't say it, because
I hope you can stay just as long
as you like to.
“To you younger men I want to
point out ‘from years of experi
ence jn Washington the advan
tages of the Washington climate.
In July and August it rarely gets
above 110 degrees and there is
absolutely no humidity.”
This ironical statement alse
brought a laugh.
The Presidenty added’ that “}
don't mind if 1 stay all summer.”
Becoming serious, he spoke
again of having had a wonderful
time on his vacation and expressed
regret that the members could not
be with him during those two
weeks of rest.
He said that he was coming
back “with all sorts of lessons I
learned from barracudas and
sharks and I'm a tough guy.”

HOW TO CLEAN 14 ALUMINUM
UTENSILS FOR 1 CENT
It takes no housewifely _magic
to make fourteen pieces of alumi
num glisten like new at the cost
of a cent. Home-makers every
where report that, the above ac
complishment - boils down to ask
ing your grocer for Brillo, the
popular metal-fibre-pad-.and-cake
of-soap cleaner., It saves labor,
too.
SUNDAY DINNER
| *SUGGESTIONS
By ANN PAGE
OR.ANGm not so many years ago
were a luxury to be enjoyed only
at Christmas time,” Today they are
almost a necessity the year around.
Their only sei.ous rival in heaith giv
ing properties are tomatoes either
fresh or canned and at this season
oranges are far cheaper than fresh
tomatoes, They are plentiful, juicy
and sweet. Use them mot only for
juice but for fruit cup, salads and
desserts.
Both new and old potatoes are very
reasonable at present and of fine
quality. Use new potatoes boiled or
baked and old potatoes mashed, fried
or baked.
Green beans are again an outstand
ing green vegetable but . they are
one of many including asparagus,
spinach, cabbage and broccoli. Use
and enjoy them all.
