At Palace Saturday
It’s all in fun, of courge, but if
“You're Telling Me,” the Para
mount film sfarring ,W, C. Fields,
which comes on Saturday to the
Palace theater, is to be relied upon,
then the millennium has arrived.
For, ag a feather-brained inven

settable drinking glasses, a non
slicing golf ball, non-melting high
ball ice and various other human
aids for which man has been wait

and an aid to easy breathing.
Fields explains the murder chair in
this wise: i
“You gee, when a burglar comes
in and says ‘Stick ’em up, you be
come friendly with him, ask him
to have a drink and invite him
to sit down in this chair. His
weight releases a 'lever and this
iron bhall flies up from the back
of the chair, smites him on the
scence and kills him deader than
a doornail” S =

who is supported by a well-round
ed cast including Larry ‘“BuSter”
Crabbe, Joan Marsh and Adrienne
Ames, doesn't get very far with
his inventions until he meets a
regal princess from 'a European
country, who sets the town right
about "him. And then, when one

Many are called western stars,

going to Hollywood- But Lane
Chandler not only was bornl in
Helena, Montana, but went to
high school there and graduated
from Montana Wesleyan Univer

to the time he made his first pic

Later, Chandler’'s knowledge of the
west, and his ability at riding,
roping, shooting and other outdoor
feats stood him in good stead, and
today Lane Chandler is one of the
foremost stars in western pictures.
In “Lawless Valley” Chandler {is

his wild rides, masterful roping,
