What She Didn't
Learn From Books
F ROM botany and geogra
phy books she learned that the
finest Orange Pekoe tea grows
in the mountains of India and
Ceylon. But she didn’t learn to
l%)preciatc fine tea flavor until
she took her first sip of Ban
quet Orange Pekoe Tea.
Now she has discovered that
one spoonful of exfra juicy
Banquet Tea leaves makes as
much as two spoonfuls of the
cheaper teas. And that this
rich, sweet, full-flavored tea—
equally delicious iced or hot—
+leaves no bitter after-taste.
Take her tip. Ask for Banquet
Tea—in the orange can that
seals in the flavor. Wonderful|

HIGHWAY 15 BODY |
MAKES PLANS TODAY l
AT GATHERING HERE |
(Continued From Page One) l
boro pointed out that it would be |
wise to hold the affair during the'
summer when the political cam
paigns were at their heignt, buti
that political speeches he barred.
F. M. Reeves, Cornelia, spoke in'
favor of thig idea, on the basis!
that the object of the ’'cue is to|
sell the paving of Route 15 to the'
authorities, and that it, would be
wise to hold it as soon as pbsslole'
and before the federal appropria
tion to Georgia is already disposed
of.
Mr. Boswell suggested that the
affair be held on Wednesday, July!
18, but this was amended to Thurs
day, July 19, as many stores close |
on Thursday afternoons, and thel
change of date would permit many
more persons to attend the ‘cue.
W. M, Lovett, state senator from
Johnson county, moved that the
counties report the number of per
sons planning to attend at lzast|
5 days before July 19, and that the|
barbecue entertainment committeei
be instructed to przpare for that |
number plus 30 per cent more to[
take care of others who will come.i
Dr. 8. V. Sanford spoke briefly
on the n2cessity for the paving of]
the route, and the necessity for|
making the barbecue one of the
largest ever held in Georgia, point
ing out that the chances of reach
ing the desired goal would be
increased if a large crowd is pres- |
«nt to show that the people along!
the route are in earnest. |
Col. J, D. Watson was appoint-'
ed chairman of the committee to |
have charge of the ‘cue, and th-e'
other members were to be appoint- |
’ed ‘by President Griffeth. Commit-;
tees to go berore tie highway goard !
and the governor concerning the |
'work will also be appoint2d. i

NEW DAINTY FLOUR WINST
The Biscuitector Proves New Dainty
Flour Bakes the Most Perfect Biscuit
What flour bakes the most
perfect biscuit? The millers all
claim it. Housewives argue
about it. Is there a way to
settle these confusing claims?
There is.
That’s why Valier & Spies
chemists perfected the léis
cuitector. It scientifically tests
biscuits fortenderness,texture,
whiteness, and volume.
Dainty Scores First
Then, to prove there is a
difference in flours, we tested,
in the Biscuitector, the favor
ite flours sold in the South.
Then we compared the results

Each flour was tested fairly.
The same recipe was used. The
dough was rofi:d to the same

size. Baked in the same oven
at the same temperature. Only
Newlmprovedßaintyßiscuits
scored 98.7%. Other flours
ranged down as low as 55%.
Why does Dainty score so
high? éecause the Biscuitector
Eroved that a certain new
