This meeting was followed by a
watermelon cutting on Migsionary
Ridge at the -lovely home, of Mr.
and Mrs. W Ik Perkinson, Past
Matron and Patron of F:ocahontag
Chapter.

juncheon at the home of Sgt. and
Mrs. E. P. Thonfas at Fort Ogle
thorpe, Ga. and a dinner given by
Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Hamilton,

Street Community house Wednes
day, August 29, with Mrs. S. P.
Reeves presiding.
At the businesg session of the
ciub, new officers for the coming
year were elected. Plans are being
made to enroll every woman in the
community. Every one is cordially
invited to meet with the club, and
lend-a-hand to ‘help carry on the
