Dickens’ Car Found in
Anderson, S. C., Sunday
- A Buick automobile -belonging to
Tam Dickens, Oconee county, was
recovered i Andersomn, S €., Sun
day. The car was stolen here Sat
urday night. The theft of the car
was reported to police about 20
minutes after the probbery of the
Industrial Lawndry.
Detective E. M. "'Weood and Mr.
Dickens brought the car back from
South Carolina last night. -
A Chevrolet automobile was re
covered by Policemmen Cornelison
and Medlin last night. Its own
er was identifiedby am insurance
policy in the car. The policy car
ried the nume of Chase Von Valk
enburg, of a Decatur, Ga. address.
Decatur officials were notified,
and the car was turned over to
them today.

The map is illustrated with pic
tures showing the principal indus
try of each large town or city
along the highway from Washing
ton, D. C., to Miami, through St.
Petershurg on the Wiest Coast and
Jacksonville on the East Coast.
The section between Macon and
Anderson, 8. €., including Athens,
is illustrated by a picture of
“Uncle Remus”. Tha route from
Macon to Athensg is known as the
“Uncle Remus Highway". Sec
retary Joel A. Wier of the cham
ber of commerece says the map
will be beneficial to Athens.
