has made final arrangements in
their plans to spend the Thanks
giving holidays encamped at Silver
Springs, Florida.
Oliver Allen, Scoutmaster, an
nounced last nigh that he had se
cured transportation in a school
bus whereby the long-awaited trip
could be made. About 15 Scouts
in full uniform accompanied by two
adults will make the trip leaving
Athens early 'Thursday morning
and returning Sunday. This is one
of the most educational and irter
esting rips to be made by Scouts
in the south. Silver Springs is the
largest fresh water spring in the
world and has become a national
ly known attraction for tourists in
Florida. |
