A Windy Story.
A certain individual of this city
who is of established veracity, as
serts that during last Sunday’s
storm a very remarkable thing
happened to some fruit jars which
were lying in the open yard and
which he happened to be watch
ing at the time Said jars though
empty had the tops screwed on
tignt. Somehow or other a whiff of
breeze came along and took away
the tops of the jars, and they hdve
not since been seen, while the
jars themselves were left standing
unharmed -and unmoved. If any-
one doubts-the truth of this story,
by calling at this office we will
cheerfuly furnish the name of our
author.
