B. M. Campbell, of Bainbridge, is
with us, talking insurance,
Tom Mills made a flying business
trip to Bainbridge this week.
Jim Bell, a former citizen of
Wbigham, was in town Tnesday.
Mrs. Dr. McCord went down to
Cairo Monday on a short visit.
Col. K. R. Terrell went over to
Cairo Thursday on legal business.
Quite a number of our citizens took
in the excursion to Savannah Mon-
day.
Miss Hattie simpson, of Pine Hill
settlement, was a visitor here this
week.
Col. Eugene Thomas and wife, of
Calvary, were guests in Wbigham
Thursday.
J. W. Lane and W. C. Johnson
went to Thomasville Thursday on
business.
Mrs. Byron Butler went up to
Bainbridge this week on a visit to
relatives.
Dr. Herring and Robt. Stimpson,
of Climax, were visitors to our town
Wednesday.
Mrs. M. F. Guilford has returned
from an extended visit to her son
in Wayoross,
J. Daniel Hsrrell, of Mars Hill,
was the guest of Mr. Rufe Harrell
this week.
Mrs. M. A. Bell is with her
daughter, Mrs. Harrell, in the ooun
try this week.
The many friends of Miss Della
Lane will regret to learn of her ex
treme illness.
Mrs. W. H. Barrett, of Braiden-
town, Fla., is the guest of her sister,
Mrs. G. T. Gibbs.
Floyd Williams and Miles Maxwell,
two of Calvary’s substantial farmers
were here Tuesday.
Miss Estelle Mills returned from
Bainbridge Saturday, where she en
joyed a week’s visit.
Heaters and coats took the plaoe
of fans and cold drinks last Friday
morning in Wbigham.
Miss Nellie Butler left this week
for Cutbbert wbero she will resume
her studies at Andrew College.
Mr. Tobe Raokley, of Mitchell
county, was here Saturday shaking
hands with his many friends.
Miss Ruby Mills returned from
Montioello, Tuesday where she has
been on a visit for some weeks.
Prof. Hall filled the pulpit of the
Baptist churoh last Sunday night in
plaoe of Rev. Mr. Christopher.
Mr. Tom .Lodge has had his resi
dence in West Whigbam repainted
whioh will add greatly to its appear
ance.
Mrs. W. T. Moyo was called to
Alabama to the bedside of her
mother who was critically ill, last.
Monday.
Will Cox, of Thomasville, was
here Monday. Ho is always a wel
come visitor to Wbigham, his old
home.

Methodist church this week. Mr.
Johnson will move to Metcalf.
Mrs, J. II. Speuoo and children, of
Thomasville, are the guests of her
sisters, Mrs. Simon Swieord, and
Mrs. W. C. Bell, of this place.

Friday for Albany, where they will
be guests of Mrs. Dr. Bushin.
Mrs. Will Cannon and childreu, of
Dutton, Fla., are the guests of Dr.
McElvy's family. Mr. Cannon has
sold his business in Florida and will
soon move to Charlotte, N. C.

Col. R. K, Terrell aud family
have moved into their new borne,
