Tenacious Tires
1
of black “Barefoot” Rubber
La*.
' ‘ T IKE a Pup to a Root, ” do they hang on to the
I Earth, when you throw in the Clutch, or
J J throw on the Brakes.
But,—instead of merely grinding against said
Earth,—for Traction,—they CLING to it, much as
your bare foot clings to slippery surfaces.
This new and wonderful Goodrich “Barefoot
Rubber, ” is as stretchy almost asa pure Rubber band,
•—Light-weight as Rubber in its native amber color,
but stronger, tougher, longer-wearing (in Tires) than
'pare Rubber could ever be.
That Lightness, Stretch, and CLING-quality is
due, in part, to the absence of the heavy and inert
white substances which, in other Tires, provide the
gritty texture designed to give effective but grinding
Traction, when Clutch or Brakes do their work.
To provide its maximum Traction with minimum
Friction (which means minimum Heat, minimum
Tread-Wear, and lessened Strain on the rubber adhes
ive between fabric layers.)—
—That’s the Mission of the new Goodrich “Bare
foot Rubber.”
How well it does this work,—how much more
Resilience, Comfort-in-riding, and Mileage, itgives,— .
may be realized only by test.
GOODRICH

Stretch it thousands of times, but tear its fibres
you can't. ..-— ««—
With all this,—observe that the best Fabric Tires
in America—made of this TENACIOUS “Barefoot”
Rubber,—cost you no more (and usually less), than or
dinary Tires made by other responsible manufacturers.
No “larger-sizedTires (taken Size for Size and
Type for Type), are made than Goodrich Black-Tread
Tires.
Why, then, should any Business Man pay more
than the Goodrich “Fair-List” Price, for any Tire,
until he has at least tested one pair of these new
“Barefoot” Rubber Goodrich Tires ?

MRS. JND. 0’
CAINS EIGHT POUNDS
IN ONLY TEN DAYS
Suffered From Stomach
Trouble and Catarrh for
Five or Six Years.
Mrs. .Jno. O’Conner, who lives
at 338 East Oldham Street, Knox
ville, Tenn., called up the Kuhl-
man-Chambliss Drug Co., recent
ly and said she wanted to speak
to the “Tanlac” man. When
Mr. Willis answered the tele
phone. Mrs. O’Conner made the
following remarkable statement:
“I just wanted you to know,
and everybody else to know,
what that Tanlac medicine has
done for me. Why, I have gain
ed eight pounds already, and
have only been taking it for ten
days. I have just finished tak
ing the first bottle and have
sent Mr. O’Conner back to the
store this morning for another
bottle. This Tanlac certainly
does just what you say it will
do. I began to eat better, sleep
better and feel better from the j
very first dose, and the change
in my condition has just been
wonderful. I had a good doctor
before I began using Tanlac, but
he didn’t seem to understand my
case and his medicine did not
seem to do me any good, so I
just set it aside and quit using
it.
“For the past five or six years
I have been in a run-down con
dition-nervous, weak and at
times very dizzy. I had nervous
headache and indigestion per
fectly awful. My stomach was
so weak I couldn’t digest the
the lightest kind of food. I was
nervous and depressed and slept
very little. I had become so de
spondent over my condition I
thought nothing could help me.
It certainly was lucky for me
when I heard of Tanlac. It is
not like any other medicine I
have tried—it seems to soothe
my stomach, and is a fine tonic,
too, because my appetite is good
now and I digest what I eat. If
any one had told me there was
a medicine on earth that would
make me gain eight pounds in
ten days, I would have thought
them crazy.
“1 don’t believe there is anoth
er medicine on earth like Tanlac.
My catarrh is also a great deal
better—in foct, a hardly notice it
any more.” •
Tanlac, the wonderful medi
cine that accomplished such re
markable results in Mrs. Jno.
O’Conners case.
