BIG BAPTIST REVIVAL
BEGINS JUNE 12TH
Key. H. H. Shell of the Baptist
Church announced Sunday
morning that he had securer!
the services and assistance of
of a well known evangelist and
singer to open up a great summer
revival in Bainbridge at the
Baptist Church.
Rev. Shell preached a power
ful sermon along the same lines
on this occasion and his points
well listened to by his congre
gation. The opening of the Re
vival will mark a new life of
the local church and a great
day is looked for by all who are
interested.
The evangelist that is to be
secured is a young of splendid
power and attainment and one
with a good reputation in his
line of work. The members of
the church were asked by their
pastor to get ready for this work
and aid in making it a master
piece of religious construction.
The time is a splendid one as
the schools will be. out and the
season to early for the people to
be going off on their summer
vacation trips. Further notes
of interest along as to the re
vival will be announced each
week.
THE BAND CONCERTS
Pills Best For Liver
The band concerts here on
Sunday afternoons are getting
to be well attended by peopie
from all over the section and
they well deserve the attendance.
It is a splendid band and the
bfst local band we have ever
had
The instruction of Prof. Kodatt
and the aid of his sons and
daughters in the concerts has
rounded out the band to where
in a few more weeks it will be
one of the real live bands of this
section. Mr. Kodatt has taken
the material found here and
made a splendid bunch of musi
cians and a band that has now
reached the point where they
have a right to ask the city to
erect them a band stand. Their
playing equals any that we have
heard by any tiaveling band.
The erection of this band stand
would be a great encourage
ment to Mr. Kodatt and his help
ers. He is a real bandmaster
as his work with this o ne has
shown. He has given Bain
bridge the only real live amuse
ment she hae had in a long time.
We don’t think that there is
a man in the city that would
object. .Every Sunday shows
an increase in the attendance
and a marked improvement in
the grades of music furnished i
by the band.

4. It is a college taught entirely by speciallv trained te

5. It is a college where money cannot buy social or 1
standing; where only character, honest endeavour and 1

6. It is free. The student pays only for what she
personally—clothing, board, books, etc.; the State pays
aries, etc.—the main cost of a college education. The 1
