Cor Forsyth and Mitchell Sts. H. R. TODD, Supt.
Atlanta, Ga.
Dear Brethren:-
After consultation today with
brethren Tolbert, Blewett, and
others I am advised to issue an
urgent and insistent call for the
pastors and leading laymen of
every church in Bowen Associa
tion to meet in Brinson Sunday
afternoon, May 28th, 2:30 o’clock.
It is exceeding desirable that I
have an Enlistment and Lay
men’s Conference with the forces
of your Association at that time;
for the purpose of arranging,
planning, and projecting a migh
ty, aggressive and immediate
Program and Campaign, the se
lection of a Laymen’s Commit
tee, organization of Layman’s
Teams, etc. This is a late and
hurried call, but because ot fu
ture engagements I cannot get
back to the Bowen for many
long months. Dr. Cree and I
are very anxious that I have this
dynamic conference and oppor
tunity to set going mighty for
ward movements in your associa
tion. You pastors, clerks, and
laymen see to it at once that
leaders from eveiy church in the
Bowen fill cars, and come on the
noon trains to that meeting at
Brinson, at 2:30 sure, Sunday
afternoon, May 28th. Any com
ing on trains will be cared for;
and drive your cars from every
section, and get there by all
means. Let us make it an after
noon of mighty, dynamic, preg
nant power. Come yourself,
bring others, and start big things
for the Kingdom at that meet
ing.
Earnestly and Faithfully,
