CASH Versus CREDIT
In deciding the policies of my store it was my highest aim to give my patrons the very best article pos
sible and the best service possible for the amount spent. I concluded that I could not do this and run a credit
business. For experience has taught me that regardless of how good a credit man you are you are bound to
have some losses. Therefore it is wrong to make those who do pay their bills, pay the bill of those who do not.
Neither can I afford to loose it. Therefore there is but two alternatives; the one is to buy a cheaper article to
sell you at a greater profit; or, to charge more for the better one. So I have decided to sell for cash and buy
for cash and as you know the CASH will work wonders I will be able to give you more for your money than
the store that charges things.
