PHI SPEIGHT
Dear Unknown Friend: -
My name is Helen. Now we are acquainted.
I have a friend named Mary, she has asked me
to advise her where to buy her furniture. I shall
write her a letter every Week. It will be published
in this paper so you may all read it. Mary won’t
care.3
I believe in making home beautiful. It is the
best Way to be happy, to hold your husband's heart
and to refine the children. It is also the only Way
‘to gain and keep a social position.
sincerely yours---HELEN

Will My Child Take Dr.
King’s New Discovery?
The best answer is Dr. King’s
New Discovery itself. It’s a
pleasant sweet syrup, easy to
take. It contains the medicines
which years of experience have
proven best for Coughs and
Colds. Those who have used
Dr. Kina’s New Discoveiy long

BUICK DESIGN—BUICK VALVE-IN-HEAD POWER
T HE rightness of the Buick Valve-in-Head motor and not the
enthusiasm of its salesmen has made the Buick conspicuous for
leadership.
This new “Four” has a Buick Valve-in-Head motor (with
electric starter) which develops thirty-five horsepower on brake
test and is so reliable for rugged service that no eulogy is neces
sary among “men who know Buick.”
Its lines are beautiful. Finish and color are exceptional. Deep
tufted black genuine leather upholstery. Covered floor and run
ning board, with aluminum bindings, give a trimness of appear
ance that is peculiarly Buick.
Body, hood, tenders and running gear are painted a glossy,
long-wearing black; wheels are black with white stripe. Tires
31x4 inches.
Model D-4-35, completely equipped, price $735 Touring Car; $720 Roadster
