is next to impossible, these men
declare. The people of the
mountains live a more or less
secluded life see few strangers
except when they go into towns
and the approach of an unknown
man is always ground for sus
picion.
A man chopping wood by the

clothes, will see a stranger pass
along the road. Immediately a
warning is flashed by the “grape

YOU’LL LIKE IT BETTER
The Dispatch of Deval, Okla.,
says:
We wish to announce that,
beginning with the first issue
in October, the Dispatch will go
to an all home print paper. Our
reasons for this are obvious.
There used to be a time in
early newspaperdom that the
ready print service was consid
ered a valuble asset to the
smaller papers. But to day, in
this enlightened age the reading
public takes the smaller papers
purely for local happenings and
the semi-weeklies and dailies
tor state and national news.
The home paper that carries
the ready print service gets
absolutely nothing for the ad
vertisements contained therein
but on the other hand, pays the
publishers thereof for the use of
same, and in a great many in
stances the patent people get
pay for more advertising than
the home paper.
Again, in our opinion, many
publishers use the ready print
merely to make their publica
tion appear with a larger num
ber of pages when they have
reasons to believe that only a
small per cent of heir subscrib
ers ever read it and at the same
time sacrificing several dollars
each week that they would
otherwise get out of foreign ad
vertising.
No the dispatch may not al
ways have as many pages, but
they will be larger and you’ll
like ’em better.

This is Tanlac week and over Eight Thousand of the leading dealers of the
country, who are agents for Tanlac will join in celebrating the second anniversary
of the greatest selling medicine of all time.
Everybody has heard of Tanlac and the wonders it has accomplished. Every
body has also heard of how hundreds of thousands of suffering men and women
have been restored to health and happiness by its use.
From coast to coast and from the Gulf to the Great Lakes Tanlac is known
and honored. Millions have taken it and have pronounced it the greatest medicine
that has ever been given to the people. No matter where you go Tanlac is a
household word and it is unquestionably the most widely talked of medicine in the
world today.
Although placed on the market a little less than two years ago over Seven
and a Quarter Million bottles have been sold, and its record as a seller has probably
never been equalled in the history of this country,
In six Southern States alone, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississip
pi and Arkansas, Tanlac is now selling at the phenomenal rate of over a million
bottles per year and the demand is constantly increasing. Through the Atlanta

If you want to know more about Tanlac just
ask this well known firm! They will tell you
it has not only proven the greatest seller but
that it has given the best satisfaction of any

tell you of scores of people right in your own
community who have been benefitted by its
use. Ask your neighbors about it and they
will tell you the same thing.
Tanlac is composed entirely of roots,
barks and herbs and contains no minerals or
harmful drugs as do many other medicines.
The ingredients, or medicinal elements which
make Tanlac come from remote sections of
the earth—the Alps, Pyrenees, Russian Asia,
Jamaica, Europe, Brazil, West Indies, Mount

Minor, Persia, India, Mexico, Columbia and
Peru, contribute the principal properties of
the preparation.
Tanlac aids the natural digestive process
through its prompt though gently corrective
action; bodily nourishment is derived through
the proper assimilation of wholesome food.

and need a good tonic and system purifier try 'J
Tanlac, and vou will add your testimonial to
the thousands of others who have been re
stored to health by its use.
