Children explored colorful new playgrounds, shared snacks with friends, and brought the park's spirit to life. As children laughed and played among the fresh landscaping and vibrant playground equipment, parents and program staff looked on with joy, hopeful that this historic space will continue to serve as a heartbeat of the community for generations to come. Set the Stage here to help sell Lake Country Story and photos by Ian Tocher ian@msgrnews.com Another new business has opened in Putnam County, officially marked by an Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony June 12 for Set the Stage at 108 Scott Oak Dr., Eatonton. Owned by Sara and Sean Tintle, Set the Stage provides a reliable source of high-end furniture destined to help sell homes all across Lake Country. “Our primary clients are going to be real estate agents, builders, and property or real estate investors,” Sean Tintle said shortly before the ribbon cutting attended by about 20 friends, family members, and well-wishers. “But we can also help support people with furniture packages for skilled nursing facilities, assisted-living facili ties, student housing, or anything like that. So, our goal is to support a large group of people, but we’re mainly here to support local realtors, agents, and brokers.” Sean and Sara bought a weekend home on Lake Oconee several years ago but made the permanent move from Smyrna to Lake Country in 2021 during the Covid lockdown. “Really because of the kids’ schools we decided to come out here during Covid,” Sean explained. “So, we did the move to full-time here and now we own a property management company in the area, and it just made sense to add the staging business for the realtors that we’re already working with.” Set the Stage is a fran chise-based company headquartered near Salt Lake City, Utah, that now has about 40 locations nationwide, including three in Metro Atlanta. Sean Tintle said with their local property management company up and running, he and Sara felt that adding Set the Stage to their family’s business portfolio just seemed like a logical next step to take. “Because we’ve had different properties that we’ve invested in over the years, I just became our own home stager and it kind of got to the point where it was finally, let’s do this full time,” said Sara Tintle, who previ ously worked as a physical therapist. Sara continues to serve as the company’s staging designer, going out to view homes being put up for sale, whether new or pre-owned, in order to get a feel for their individual aesthetics. She strives to make the furnishings fit the look and vibe of their surroundings. “We’ve had several new homeowners say they Sara and Sean Tintle relax in their Set the Stage showroom and warehouse featuring furniture for sale or home-staging purposes. loved the furnishings so much when they bought the house that they also bought a lot of the furniture from us,” Sean pointed out. “So, that’s become part of our new business, too. We’ve got a small showroom in the back here, where we can show and sell furniture. We’re excited about our future here.” LAKE OCONEE FARMERS MARKET Every Saturday • 8 AM to 12 PM Support Lake Country's Farmers, Makers, Bakers, & more! 40+ vendors every week.
