Harbor Club is a gated lakefront
community nestled along the
shoreline of Lake Oconee in
Greene County.
Originally developed late in the
1980s, the developers wanted to
establish a close-knit community
able to enjoy the benefits of the
lake, a top-notch golf course,

Kathy Phillips, director of real

said Phillips. “We also have a

storage for boats and a seasonal
restaurant there called the Boat
House. In addition, there are many
recreational sports including golf,
tennis, pickleball, the pool, and so
much more to participate in.”
Alongside amenities, Harbor
Club offers resident and
non-resident memberships that
provide a wide range of benefits.
These can include access to
the modern fitness center with
LifeFitness equipment and
exercise classes, golf practice
areas, discounts at the Harbor
Club Marina,
preferred reservation access at the
restaurant and golf club, and more.
“We offer different levels of
membership so that people
may choose from based on
their personal interests. The
membership levels range from a
social membership to a full golf
membership,” said Phillips.
Phillips also pointed out Harbor
Club is a perfect place for growing
families. It is located near shopping
centers and grocery stores, has
quick access to the interstate and
offers the opportunity for families
to enroll their children in Lake
Oconee Academy, one of the top
charter schools in the county.
“The affordability and location
of Harbor Club is the biggest
factor for most residents who have
moved here,” said Phillips. “It’s an
