Ossie Davis To
Prepare Skit For

ginal skit dramatizing one or
more or the many outstanding
NAACP activities during the
past yera.

ficantly, requiring a larger ban
quet room this year.
The Fellowship Dinner is an
important occasion for NAACP
members when tribute will be
paid toNAACP leaders through
out the country who have con
tributed to the successes of the

With some families, a big meal
is traditional. If it’s tradition; if
everyone enjoys it, keep it up. by
all means. Just make sure that
everyone contributes some effort
to the occasion to the extent that
Mom doesn’t spend the whole day
in the kitchen.
If you don't have a big meal on
New Year’s Day. then take it
easy. Don’t do much of anything
except breathe. Hospitality is con -
tagious, so when guests come, do
as little as possible. They will
relax and enjoy themselves.
Have Snacks
Don’t overdo the food bit for
company. Have some nuts, cook
ies and fruits available. Don’t run
a day-long mess hall.
No need to stay up late, unless
there’s a good movie on. For din
ner or supper, keep it to the im
mediate family. Cold cuts or ham
burgers are practical; some salad
too.
