Cotton received in good order at the depots, and afterwards torn while in possession of the Company, wUlbe mended
st their expense. All oilier damage done to Cotton yi transitu will be promptly settled at Savannah. It is understood
that tbit Company will not .bold themselves accountable for pillage, or damage by tlie weather, or otherwise, on any
freight after being landed atthe place of destination.
