FAYETTEVILLE NEWS VOL. XXXI. FAYETTEVILLE, GEORGIA, MARCH 13, 1920. NO. 33 WHY IS ILL HEALTH? Many Causes for a Run-Down Condition JEWISH WAR RELIEF CAMPAIGN BROOKS HONOR ROLL One of the Most Common Anemia (General Blood lessness) is “111 health’’ is a relative term. Some individuals are terribly and seriously ill, and need the services of the best doctor obtainable. Others are not so seriously affected. If your ill health is a result of weak, watery blood (an exceedingly common condition) you can recognize it by the following signs of or symptoms: 1— Poor color or real paleness. 2— “Tired-outness” or general weak ness 3— Headaches. 4— Loss of appetite. 5— Lack of spirits and ambition. G—Loss of bodily strength. The best remedy is one that will overcome the cause — Anemia or Bloodlessness. “Glide’s” Pepto-Man- gan is the one peculiarly medicine for this purpose; It supplies the weak, watery blood with the very elements it (the blood) which carries the good one gets from one’s food to all parts of the run-down body. It repairs, re-cre ates, revivifies and rebuilds the ex hausted blood, the fountain and foun dation of health and life. Try Pepto- Mangan if you are "run-down.” It cannot harm you—it will certainly help you unless you have some deep- seated chronic disease requiring the physician’s care. . Be sure the name "Gude’s” is on the package. Without "Gude’s” it is not Pepto-Mangan. For sale at all druggists. FOR LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION GEORGIA—Fayette County. To All Whom It May Concern: T. To the Voters of Fayette County: I herebp announce myself a candi date for Tax Receiver of Fayette Coun ty, subject to the Democratic pri mary. I was born and raisdd in this coun ty. Am now' 49 years of age, and have always tried to be a citizen, and for fifteen years have been physically unable to do much work. There isn’t much in the way of news in this section at present. The weather conditions have been such that there has been but little farm work done up to the present, They have busied themselves handling guano and com for use 'the coming season. There have been, up to the present, forty cars of fertilizer and three cars of corn delivered at Brooks, yet all are not supplied. The town was considerably wrought up Monday night between six and seven o’clock by the • explosion of dy namite or some other explosive in the heart of town. As there is no positive evidence of where it was exploded, we will have to attribute it to some be lated aeroplane thinking he was bomb ing the bodies’ works. The explosion was heard for miles around, but no damage done. The Gypsies were camped near Brooks last week, but folded their tents and went north Sunday. The Rose, Kilian, Show gave a per formance in Brooks Monday night, and left for Woolsey Tuesday morning. Sheriff Kerlin was in this section last week on official business. Judge J. J. Davis was at Brooks last Thursday, paying off the Confederate pensioners. • W. H. McKinney, tax collector, was in our midst Monday on legal business. Mrs. Demoe and Mrs. Allie Harper of Atlanta visited W. H. Stephens and family Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Caleb Stephens of Atlanta was the guest of his nephew, W. N. Ste phens, Sunday and Monday. Mrs. R. B. Banks is quite sick at this writing. The other sick of tlu* community are convalescing. We were in town recently and heard of the sickness of our friend, Prymes. We hope lie may have a speedy re covery. We saw our friend, Jim Cator. lie seemed to be enjoying life and re taining his complexion . ii CUSTOMERS’ BENEFIT FOR LETTERS OF DISMISSION I now call upon the voters of this But the ones they all stick to are the I county for their support, and if elect- ones in the red, white and blue.
