The FAYETTEVILLE NEWS VOL. XXXI. FAYETTEVILLE, GEORGIA, MAY 21,1920. NO. 43 Memorial of Mrs. Annie Adams. On the morning of April the 7th, as the first rays of daylight beamed across the heavens a message came to us to hasten to the home of Mr. J. I. Adams, and on reaching that home and to the bedside of his dear wife we found her cold in death, sleeping the sweet sleep of the weary tMt had found rest. Just a few hours before, she was in fairly good health. God moves in mysterious ways His wonders to per form. It was sostrange how dear An nie was taken from us, yet it is God’s way. His will be done. Aswelooktoward her home, how sad we feel, for we loved her almost as a sister. She was a good neighbor, always lending a helping hand in any way she could. She was good to go to anybody in trouble and in sickness. Especially was she good in her home; 'always trying to teach her children the right way by kind words. Dear children, mama will be no more here, and the ones that’s away, no mama to meet you when you come back .to the old home, yet look across the vale, heaven will now seem near er since mama has gone. Let the memory of her words guide you through trials and! temptations and some sweet* day we will all meet again where no farewell tears are shed. You all have our deepest sympathy. A TRUE FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR Line Creek. It ha; begun to look very much like we would not get to farm, much this year, bunt the Lord! knows best. Peo ple are living too fast.
