AUGUST FLOWER
‘lt is a surprising fact,” says Prof.
Houtou, “that in my travels in all parts
0l the world, sor the last ten years I have
met many people having used Green’s
August Flower than any other remedy,
for dyspepsia, derang liver and stomach,
a,ui for constipation. I find for tourists
aa d salesmen, or for persons filling office
positions, where headaches and general
bad feelings from irregular habits exist,
tear Green’s August Flower is a graud
remedy. It does not injure the system
l y frequent use, and is excellent for sour
stomachs and indigestion.” Sam pie bot

John W. Moon Dead.
It is with sadness we chronicle the
death of Mr. John W. Moon, which oc

twenty years ago, coming over on this
side of the county from Harrisburg dis

raised. He took ill with pneumonia
about a week before his death and con

This district and Jackson couuty had no
hotter citizen than John W. Moon. He
was strictly honest and honorable in all
his dealings and a kind and clever neigh
bor. Ho belonged to Capt. Marlow’s com
pany, which was one of the companies
making up the lfith Georgia Battalion
of Cavelry, and made a brave an 1 gal

He was jovial and always in a good
humor and very popular with every one
who knew him. The burial service at
the old Lyle cemetery near Mulberry
last Saturday afternoon was attended
by a large concourse of people to pay the
last tribute of respect to this good neigh

children and a great number of relatives
and friends to mourn his death. lie

DEAFNESS CANNOT BE CURED
by local applications as they cannot
reach the diseased portion of the ear.
There is only one way to cure deafness,
and that is by constitutional remedies.
Deafness is caused by an inflamed co •
dition of the mucuous lining of the
Eustachian Tube. When this tube is
inflamed you have a rumbling sound or
imperfect hearing, and when it is en
tirely closed, Deafness is the result, and
unless the inflammation can be taken
out and this tube restored to its normal
condition, hearing will bedestroyed for
ever; nine cases oat of ten are caused by
Catarrh, which is nothing but an in
flamed condition of the mucuous sur
faces.
We will give One Hundred Dollars
for any case of Deafness (caused by
catarrh) that cannot be cured by Hall’s
Catarrh Cure. Send for circulars; free.

It Helps Winder.
Winder has one enterprise that helps
the town more than many imagine. We
refer to the Bottling plant of Mr. A H.
O’Neal- He came here nearly two
years ago aid started up his plant for
manufacturing all kin Is of carbonated
drinks and his success has been phe
nominal. He supplies all the towns and
stores in every direction for 2 ) miles
around Winder. He has the latest im
proved m mhinery and makes the finest
soda, ginger, and other drinks of any
bottling plant in the state. What
money he makes is spent here and helps
Winder that much. If we had tan or
fifteen small industries, all run as well
and by a® clever men as Mr. O'Neal, it
would mean many thousand dollars for
the city. The Eoonomizt is proud of
Mr. O’Neal’s success.

From the Times, Hillstille, Va.
I Bufforred with diarrhoea for a long

I had spent much time an 1 money and
suffered so much misery thit I had al

some wonderful cares had been wrought
by this remedy, I decided to try it. Aft

This certifies that my wife has been
afflicted for a period o eighteen years,
at times in bed for three or four months.
I decided to employ Dr. Edward B anks
of Bowman, Ga.. to treat her and de
sire to say that her relief has been
wonderful. During her afflictions she
had been treated by more than one
dozen physicians, with, only temporary
relief. My wife boldly asserts now that
she feels better than since her marriage a
period of eighteen years. Dr Banks has
also treated me, and I am frank to Bay
that I have been wonderfully relieved.
I cheerfully recommend Dr. Banks to
all afflicted people. Give him a trial
and see for yourself.
Very truly
