WOULD NOT SUFFER SO AGAIN
FOK FIFTY TIMES ITS PRICE,
I awoke last night with severe pains
in my stomach. I never felt so badly
in all my life. When I came down to
work this morning I felt so weak I
could harkly work. 1 went to Miller &
McCurdy’s drug store and they recom
mended Chamberlain’s Colic, Cholera
and Diarrhoea Remedy. It worked like
magic and one dose fixed me alright. It
certainly is the finest thing I ever used
for stomach trouble. I shall not be
without it in my home hereafter, for 1
should not care to endure the sufferings
of last night again for fifty times its
price. _G. H. Wilson, Liveryman, Bur
gettstown, Washington Ct>, Pm . Ibis
This remedy is for sale by Winder
Drug Cos.
Special Notice.
The many relatives of the deceased
who are bnried at the Jackson burying
grounds on Jack F. Jackson’s plantation
in Oconee county are requested to meet
at the grounds with the d:fferent kinds
of tools necessary for cleaning off said
burial ground on Tuesday, August 21,
1900. Many fiiends.
A Well Kept Cemetery.
On last Friday afternoon we had oc
casion to stop a few minutes at Chapel
church, three miles below Winder.
Miss Mozellle Whitehead, who has been
teaching there for two years, has a
prosperous school and is being assisted
by Miss Dora Wilhite for a few weeks.
We were impressed with the well kept
cemetery wnich shows that the com
munity keep in memory the loved ones
whose bodies lie buried in their beauti
ful grounds. You will find as many
nice and had some tombs at the Chapel
cemetery as any one for its siae in the
county. Most of the work put up t here
was made by Butler Bros., of Marietta,
the largest Marble concern in Georgia,
through their agent here, Mr. S. P.
Smith. Mr. Smith has just put up one
of the nicest and most perfect tombs of
its kind over the grave of Uncle Dave
Hill we have ever seen. It speaks well
for any community to see the cemetery
looked after and kept in good condition.
Hinton’s Acad
emy Celebration.
The celebration at Hinton’s Academy
will come off on Aug 24 All are re
quested to bring baskets who can as
they are expecting a large crowd and a
great day.

QUESTION ANSWERED.
Ye3, August Flower still has the
largest sale of any medicine in the civ
ilized world, Yonr mothers’ and grand
mothers’ never thought of using any
thing else for Indigestion or Biliousness.
Doctors were scarce, and they seldom
heard of Appendicitis, Nervous Prostra
tion or Heart failure, etc. They used
August Flower to clean out the system
and stop fermentation of undigested
food, regulate the action of the liver,
stimulate the nervous and organic ac
tion of the system, and that is all they
took when feeling dull aud bfd with
headaches and other aches. You only
need a few doses of Green’s August
Flower, in liguid form, to make you
satisfied there is nothing serious the
matter with you. Sample bottles at

DOES IT PAY TO BUY CHEAP?
A cheap remedy for ooughs and colds
is all right, but you want something
that will relieve and cure the more se
▼ere and dangerous results of throat and
lung troubles. What shall you do? Go
to a warmer and more regular climate?
Yes, if possiple; if not posible for you,
then in either case take the ONLY rem
edy that has been introduced in all civ
ilized countries with success for severe
throat and lungs troubles, Boschee’s
German Syrup.” It not only heals and
stimulates tue tissues to destroy the
germ disease, but allays inflammation,
causes easy expectoration, gives a good
