Since God in His alwise providence has seen fit to remove from our midst, our friend, Emory McElroy, we bow in submission to the will of him who holds the destiny of men in His hands. My acquaintance with Emory was some what limited, but from what I knew of him caused me to form a very exalted opinion, and my heart was saddened when I heard of his death. The wife, father mother, brothers and sisters have my deepest sympathy, and my prayer is that they may all live as that we may meet him in Heaven. A Friend.
