NOVELTY IN CHAU
TAUQUA PROGRAM
“Her Husband’s Wife,” Faree Comedy
Enacted by Broadway Players.
i
Royal Fillippino String Band, Lenzo’s
Cavaliers. Hetty Janes Dunnaway
Among the Attractions.
When the Community Chautauqua
opens here September 12 you will get
your lirst taste of the new-plauned en
tertainment. That the Community
System planned fur variety this year
and got it is shown by a casual glance
at the list of talent.
You will note that an extra day has
been added to our Chautauqua which
increases the program to six days. No
charge is made for this addition.
Lenzo's Cavaliers introduce this nov
elty program. These four Neopolitan
entertainers give a complete concert,
playing the many numbers niton ac
cordiau, flute, violin, mandolin alml
cornet.
Kerry Singers will entertain on the
Second Day. Here is a delightful trio
who sing and play the most popular
airs, both of Ireland and America.
The third day brings the mirthful
and magical entertainment of the
Floyds. Everybody enjoys mystery and
illusions and the Floyds are supreme
in this work. The astounding “trunk
trick” which they present is alone
worth the price of admission.
On this same day the Cecilian Trio
will render a musical program, played
on violin, cello and piano.
Fourth day heralds the appearance
of the Royal Filipino String Band
This organization is the best of its
kind. The music is layed on many
instruments, some of which are un
known in America and the numbers
have a foreign atmosphere to them.
On the fifth day “Her Husband's
Wife,” a big farce comedy, will he
presented. A strong cast of profes
sional Broadway payers together
with specially designed scenery and
settings will go to make this attrac
tion an event of importance.
On the last day, Hetty Jane Duna
way, the popular reader, will present
Same Old Story But a Good One,
Mrs. Mahala Burns. Savanna, Mo.,
relates an experience, the like of which
has happened in almost every neigh
borhood in this country, and has been
told and related by thousands of others,
as follows: “I used a bottle of Cham
berlain's Colic and Diarrhoea Remedy
about nine years ago and it cured me
of flux (dysentery). I had another at
tack of the same complaint three or
four years ago and a few doses of this
emedy cured me. I have recommended
it to dozens of people since I first used
it and shall continue to do so for I
know it is a quick and positive cure for
bowel troubles.”
