In Memory of H. O. Sell
“There is no death; an angel form
Walks o'er the earth with silent tread;
He hears our best loved ones away;
And then we call them dead.
Vnd ever near us tho’ unseen;
The dear immortal spirits tread,
For all the universe is life—
There are no dead.”
In the early morning of August 17th,
the spirit of our beloved brother, H. <)._
Sell, left its earthly alwsle for tHat
home eternal in the heavens. Through
many weeks of intense suffering, he
was ever patient.
Therefore, be it resolved:
1. That we commend him to the
great and all-wise God who makes no
mistakes, heliving that he has called
him from the shadows of earth to the
unlight of a perfect day, there to live
forever with his Lord.
2. That we extend to the family and
loved ones our deepest love and sym
pathy In this sad hour, pointing them
to the comforting words of our Lord,
“Blessed are the dead who die in the
Lord, from henceforth they do rest
from their labors and their works do
follow them.” He was ever faithful to
ittend his lodge on each Friday night.
As we would listen we would hear Bro.
Sell on his way to Pentecost Lodge No.
KJ7, i. O. O. F. We will soy to the wife
nd son and all the loved ones, submit
yourselves to the Will of God. Ever be
willing to do the bidding of our Lord.
3. That a copy of these resolutions be
spread on our minute book and a copy
o stmt to the family and also a copy
>e sent to our county paper for publi
cation.
