ENJOYING TRIP IN FLORIDA
Daytona, Fla. —My Dear Friend:
Sitting by a gentleman this morning,
he said the weather was 30 to 40 de
gr*es below zero at Ids home. This
morning the temperature here is 70
and on the ocean 60. Isn’t that fine?
We are having plenty of fruit and
all kinds of vegetables. Miami is said
to be uncomfortably warm. Ifso we
will not stay there long. This is God’s
country sure enough in tile winter
time.
But God’s chosen pwple live in Win
der—some of them, anyway. I hope
I may live a hundred years and never
grow older. My greatest desire is to
live with and among the Winder peo
ple. I know you think I am sentimen
tal. Well, a man without sentiment
is a man without soul. A man with
out soul is a man without feelings.
Don’t you see where that will run to?
I have never appreciated the rough,
cold, unkind spirit I find in some men.
You can do anything in the world w ith
me by kindness and love.
till, say, how's politics? Wish I
could sit down and talk to you. I guess
the folks east of us arc finding some
body else in America besides one man,
Don’t you think so.
1 am sloping at. a perfectly splendid
place with one exception. Most too
many women—-particularly old women
—six to one man. I always was a fool
about good looking women. But Lord
knows, I don't like but one at a time.
There is otic away over in a corner
of the dining room—laughs so loud
she reminds you of being at an old-fash
ioned corn shucking. I will better
you five dollars she is a widow. I
wouldn’t like to get closer than ten
of her.
Well, don’t let anybody run away
with you while I am gone,
Sincerely,
G. W. PeLaPerriere.

It is not sufficient* that your crop gets an early start to enable
it to win the race against drouth, excessive rainfall, rust, shedding
and boll weevil. It must have a steady, healthy growth which
constant nourishment alone can give, if it is expected to come in
ahead on the homestretch.
The South Atlantic Brands not only give all crops a quick
start, hut by reason of the scientific linking together of the best
and most dependable fertilizing iqaterials, they afford constant
and steady feeding of the plant and enable it to resist such diseases

Effects of Constipation.
Constipation causes a stoppage of the
sewerage system of the body. The pois
onous refuse matter that should be car
ried away it retained in the system and
often poisons the blood and causes nu
perous disorders. No one can afford
to neglect bis bowels. A dose of Cham
berlain's Tablets will afford relief.
Avoid drastic cathartics as they take
too much water out of the system and
their use is likely to lie followed by
constipation.
