In Honor of the Daughters of Zero
Perkins.
On Sunday, July 2b. W. .T. Jones,
children and grandchildren gather
ed at the home of T. N. Walls in
honor their old aunts, daughters of
Zeno l’erkins.
A grand and glorious time was
had. It wa> an old-time gathering
such as kinfolks used to have when
l was a chifd.
A long table was spread under
the trees, and all partook of a
sumptuous feast. In the afternoon
this same table was laden with can
taloupe, watermelons and all kinds
Nf fruit, and the assembled guests
again fell to and did ample justice
to the good things before them.
Among those present were T. N.
Walls, children and granehildren;
Aunt Emma Bedingfield and chil
dren, from Bethlehem; and Aunt S.
J. Perkins--making 9o in all

jury commissioners in and for the
county of Jackson of C. F. Hol
liday and J. M. Haynie having ex
pired, and H. H. Hancock’s term
of office, having terminated hy
the acceptance of his resignation
from said office, leaving therefore
three vacancies on said hoard of jury
revisors to till, and the undersigned
deeming it hut justice that all flec
tions of the county from time to
time lie represented on said Ixiard
as far as possible, the county site by
custom being always entitled to one ,
it is therefore ordered that L. F.
Sell he and he is hereby appointed
a jury commissioner in and for the
county of Jockson to succeed said
Holliday. His term of office dating
from Jan. 1, 11108, and expiring
on the Ist day of Jan., 11)14, unless
otherwise ordered.
It is father ordered that 8. E.
Bailey be and lie is hereby appoint
ed a jury commissioner in and for the
county of Jackson, to succeed said
Haynie. His term of office dating
form Jan. 1, 1908, and, expiring
