free Scholarship in the
School of Your Choice.
The Athens Business College of
Athens, da., is jwisitively the only
hnsiuess college in the state which
teaches a thorough course of prac
tical bookkeeping and business
training. Other schools teach
theoretical bookkeeping; some or
them call it actual business, hut it
is not. The commercial room of
| the Athens Business College is a
J community of business houses of
various kinds, engaged 1u real
active business work; it teaches one
to do by doing. Every entry made
by the student during his entire
course is originated by <m actual
sale or purchase; it may be grain,
it may he groceries, dry goods, real
estate, or stock in a corporation,
hut the transaction, whether (heck,
note, draft, receipt, mortgage, deed
i r what not, is filled out by the
student; contracts of partnership
arc drawn up and agreed upon
between the parties forming the
partnership; articles of incorpora
tion are drawn up, officers elected
and a corporation formed as any
large corporation would be formed
in the business world; hanks are
organized and operated just as a
National hank should be operand
under the National laws. 'I hru
these practical methods, the student
learns business as well as bookkeep
ing; they learn how to meet one
another face to face and transact
business in a business way instead
of copying theoretical transactions
from a text hook, as is done in
every other comniep-i.il school in
the state, ll takes more teaching
force and ’hotter teachers to teach
our systems and methods; our
teachers are not only teachers of
Bookkeeping hut tliev must he well
informed on business customs
W hen a student learns to do a thing
by actually doing it, he learns it
thoroughly, and does not have to go
over it time and again as in theory
work. Thereloiv with our practical
face to face business methods, we
| arc able to give the student a
! thorough course of both bookkeep
ing and business trailing in less
, °
time than In' could possibly get the
theory or so called practical hook
keeping in other schools.
We will give a fiee scholarship in
the School of your choice to anyone
finding another school in this state j
teaching both bookkeeping and
business thru practical business
transactions as we do. Similar
practical methods to those used inj
our Bookkeeping and Business
Trailing course arc used in teaching
shorthand and typewriting. We be
lieve in learning to do in the school
mom that, which you must do
when going into the business world.

!In effect the church says to the

! sponsihilitv of the church for the;

wilfully sinful in life and conduct;

The answer is in the word of
• Co.l. In the message to the church
|of Thyatiru the Lord says, “f have
1 a few tilings against thee because
thou suth rest that woman Jezebel
to teach and to seduce mv servants.
And he calls on the church to re
pent and change her course.
The teaching of these messages
to the churches is that the church
must not suffer the deliberate evil
doer to continue to use her name in
dishonoring Christ,. If lie will not
bear true, testimony he must not
wear her livery or ust' her seal.
