Their friends of this community sympathize with them in this sad hour. Miss Essie Crook, a popular teaeh jerof Dry Pond, opened her school here Monday. The prospects are fluttering for another year. The friends of W. C. Roberts will i regret to know of his sickness, and j hope for him a speedy recovery. Mrs. A. J. Fite, who has been iin Jefferson for some time, has ro : turned to her home.
