known as the Ezell Griffin-Ned Baynes tract,
situated 4 miles each of Machen, Shady Dale
and Willard, Ga., within 1 1-2 miles of Aiken
ton and Apollo, stations on Central of Geor
gia railway; also within 10 miles each of
Monticello and Eatonton, Ga., convenient to
schools and churches, on two public roads

good, character of soil the best; two-thirds
of this place is the celebrated Davidson clay
loam, so shown on the government soil sur
vey map of Jasper county, which is recogniz
ed by said authority, and practical farmers,
familiar with this type soil, to he the most
substantial and-productive of any soils in
Georgia. Especially adapted for the staple
crops—cotton, corn and wheat; also would
make a peach of a peach orchard. This place
