Furiow, one of the best known citizens of this city, and Mr. E. D. Tolleson, who has until recently been in the drug business in McDonough. He will be joined later by his family and they will occupy a cottage on Mulberry street. Mr. W. T. Powers, a warm Brown supporter, and Mr. M. D. Garr, a Smith supporter, made a bet on the election, the winner to be wheelbarrowed around the courthouse square. Mr. Powers lost and ate his crow gracefully in the presence of a large and cheering crowd. !‘
