DIVISION OF DISTRICTS In order that the competition be equally divided the field of the Progress has been divided into three districts, as follows: DISTRICT NO. 1. All territory west Mulberry street, including Jenkinsburg, Towaliga, Wal tham and contigous territory. DISTRICT NO. 2. All territory between Mulberry and Dempsey avenue, south of Third street, including Flovilla, Elgin, Worthville, and con tigous territory. DISTRICT NO. 3. All territory east of Dempsej " avenue and Covington street, including Indian Springs, Cork, Stark, Fincherville, and con tigous territory. RULES AND REGULATIONS Votes issued on subscription are not sent with blank, and are not transferable and must bear the name of the contestant for whom intended before paper leaving the office. If a contestant cannot secure good endorsement upon reques Manager reserves the right to withdraw the name from the contest. Should the Contest Manager so decide, he reserves the right to make alteration that will go to all contestants. Contest Begins January 13th. While it is not absolutely necessary that one of these blanks be sent in for each candidate who desires to com pete, it would facilitate matters if each candidate would do so. Besides the first coupon received of this character counts 1,000 votes. This blank need be sent in but one time. Under no circumstances will the nominators name be divulged. District F*rizes Three Diamond Rings Three Gold Watches Three Business Scholarships HOW VOTES ARE SECURED > With every subscription to the Progress paid in advance or a renawal, a coupon good for a certain number of votes is given. The number of votes depends upon the length of the subscription.* That is explained elsewhere. The coupon may be* held as long as desired and voted at any time up to the last day of the race. The ballots printed in the Progress are good for face value only andf must be polled before expiration of date printed on each coupon. WHO MAY ENTER THE CONTEST Any young woman (married or single) residing in Progress territory and in good standing is pli able to compete in this contest. A lady does not have to be a subscriber to the Progress in order to enter. All that is necessary is to send in the name or names, the addresses of the person. Vote3 may be clipped from the paper or secured on subscrip tions.
