Butts county will receive $12,- 715.01 as her part of the school fund in 1912. County Superin tendent C. S. Maddox expects to receive within the next few days f-om 10 to 20 per cent of the 1911 fund. BUTTS* Cofa&TY ffkoC&Mi, ST. JOHNS LODGE HAS ANNUAL ELEOTION OFFICERS The annual election of officers was held by St. Johns Lodge, No. 45, F. & A. M., at the regular communication Monday night, when the following were chosen to serve the Lodge for the ensuing year: H. M. Fletcher, W. M. R. B. Thompson, S. W. C. M. Compton, J. W. D. G. McMichaei, Treasurer. F. M. Allen, Secretary. The appointive officers have not been named. The officers will be installed at a leder meeting. St. Johns Lodge will soon move into its new home, and faces the brightest prospects in its entire history. MASS MEETINS POSTPONED UNTIL AFTER HOLIDAYS On account of the busy season the mass meeting which was to have been held in the court house Thursday night in the interest of the Interurban Railroad has been postponed until after the holi days. The date of the meeting will be announced later. It is up to the people of Jack son to get busy and land this railroad. They can do it with a little united effort. It is nearer than it has ever been before, and all that is necessary is the proper amount of public spirit Found Ladies’ gold watch.
