The GEORGIA SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION TO MEET Tbe Program Committee for the Convention has had three meetings and has prepared a feast of good things for the Georgia Sunday school workers. Among the speakers are to be: Rev. R. L. Christie, pastor of the First Baptist church of Column bus; Mr. Frank L. Mallary, Ma con; Rev. Howard T. Cree, pas tor of the First Christian church of Augusta; Col. A. W. Evans, of Sandersviile, and a number of other prominent Sunday school workers of the State. Among the out-of-State speakers will be Mr. Marion Lawrence, of Chi cago, General Secretary of the International Sunday School As sociation; Dr. H. M. Hamill, of Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. H. M. Hamill. As the Convention is to be held at Dublin, the people are making big preparations. A chorus of about one hundred voices is be ing organized, and the various committees are busy, for they are determined to make this the greatest Sunday School Conven tion Georgia has ever had. All who attend will be entertained free. Every white Sunday school in Georgia is requested to send three delegates, besides pastor and superintendent, who are del egates by virtue of their office. But the Dublin friends and the officers of the State Sunday School Association would much prefer any school that would do so to send ten or twelve dele gates. All will be amply taken care of. Pope’s. We are hoping that the rain will soon cease so that we can get back to work. Cork seems to be on the bum after all this rain. The farmers are very much behind with their crops on account of the rain. The people of Cork are very glad to have a school here once more. Miss Rubie Charabless is our teacher. The little teacher at Ward's has a very good school, also.
