LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTS PUBLIC SALE OF VALUABLE LAND. GEORGIA— Butts County. Whereas, on the second day of De cember, 1001, Ella J. Perry executed and delivered to The Security Invest ment Company her deed, under See- Lions No. 1969, 1970, 1971 of the Code of Georgia, 1882, to the lands hereinafter described, for the purpose of securing a debt referred to in said deed, which deed is recorded in the Clerk's office of JButts Superior Court in Book “T of Deeds, page GO. And whereas, in said deed said Ella Terry gave to said Company the power to sell said lands in case of default in the prompt payment at maturity of in terest or principal of said debt. Now, therefore, by virtue f of the power so vested in the undersigned, which is more accurately shown by reference to said deed, said The Secur ity Investment Company will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder, for cash, on the first Tuesday in April, 1912, during the legal hours of sale, before Butts county court house door, at Jackson, Ga., the lands described in the aforesaid deed, to-wit: That certain city property in Jackson, Butts coun ty, Georgia, fronting sixty (60) feet on west side of Oak street and running back a uniform width one hundred and forty (140) feet, and bounded, in De cember, 1901, as follows: North by Rosa Calvert, east by Oak street and south and west by Mattie Logue. The said deed first above mentioned was executed and delivered to secure the payment of a certain promissory note for the sum of S2OO and the inter est coupons attached thereto, all of said notes dated December 2d, 1901, and the principal debt bearing interest at the rate of six per cent per annum. Said principal debt is now past due hy the terms thereof, and remains due and unpaid. The total amount of prin cipal and interest that will be due on •said debt on the first Tuesday in April, 1912, is $211.50. Fee simple titles will be made to the purchaser at said sale and the proceeds of such sale will be applied first, to the payment of said debt with interest and expenses of this proceed, ing, and the remainder, if any, will be paid over to said Ella J.
