All calls promptly answered. SANDY We are glad to see this beauti ful weather, so nice for the far mers. Some are planting cotton and some corn. Farmers are busy now. Mr. Jack Coleman of near Cork is planting cotton. He always plants early and makes good crops. We are glad to learn that Mrs. Davis has moved into her new house and glad to know Mrs. Goins is doing so well. Mr. Daniel Fogg, of Sandy, is doing fine in the corn line and will start to thinning Monday. Mr. Parron Davis has just re turned from a successful fishing trip. Mr. Oliver Fogg and Mr. Land, operator at Sandy, have been on the sick list. Mr. Riley Johnson is doing nicely with his new store at San dy. We are glad to have a store in our little town. Mrs. Homer Vaughn is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Riley Johnson. We are glad to learn that Mr. William Moss is able to walk around Sandy. He spent Satur day evening at Mrs. Fogg’s. Mr. C. E. Maddox, who has been on the sick list, is improv ing. Mr. % Charlie Mayfield hasn’t been in our town in several weeks. We are always glad to see him. Mr. R. L. Leverette gave a singing which was very much en joyed by the large crowd present.
