An Act to Prohibit the Ginning of Seed Cotton in Butts County, at night, and for other Purposes. Section 1. Be it enacted by the Gen eral Assembly of the State of Georgia, and it is hereby enacted by the author ity of the same, that from and after the passage of this act, it shall be unlaw ful for any person, firm, corporation or stock company to gin any seed cotton in the county of Butts, State of Geor gia, at night, later than 7 o’clock in the evening, or earlier than 5 o’clock in the morning. Section 2. Be it further enacted, that any person, firm, corporation or stock company violating any of the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon convic tion be punished as provided in section 105 of the code of 1910. H This question was sprung when the Central Georgia Transmission company, which is building a transmission line trom the power plant on the Ocmulgee river to Atlanta, applied to the county commissioners of Fulton county for a franchise to run their line from one of the streets of Atlan ta to East Point.
