WATKINS Much sympathy is felt for Mr. and Mrs. Joel B. Watkins in the death of their son, Mr. S. H. Watkins, which occurred at 8:10 o’clock Wednesday night. Mr. Watkin’s death was due to typhoid fever, which was con tracted while attending Locust Grove Institute. He was taken home several days ago and ev erything possible was done to stay the final summons. For a number of days his condition was critical and death did net cause surprise but occasioned sincere sorrow. Mr. Watkins was about twenty one years of age and a young man of bright prospects. He was broadening his mental hori zon through a liberal education and fitting himself for a career of prominence and usefulness. Coming on the threshold of young manhood, Mr. Watkin’s death is particularly sad. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Watkins, three brothers and three sisters, and other relatives sur vive him.
