WHEAT WEEVIL
In the following article a wri

remedy for wheat weevils:
Many farmers of Tift county

have made fair yields and now
intend to plant wheat this fall.
Without a word of warning, many
wheat growers in South Georgia
will have their wheat very seri

Strength, Power, Accomplishment are all Typified in S. S. S.
Some blood disorders become deeply

To get right down Into where the blood

Not only this, but If rrom the presence

cause bolls, carbuncles, abscesses and
V.mdred troubles. S. S. S. so directs the

ously damaged and made unfit
for flour or seed by weevils and
worms. This will cause many to
become discouraged and quit
growing wheat.
I am writing to ask you to give
the farmers the following simple
remedy that will kill the weevils
and worms:
Place your wheat in barrels or
tight boxes of any size. Buy
eliminated from their presence.
Then, too, S. S. . S. has such apeclfie
stimulation on these local cells as to pre
serve their mutual, welfare and a proper
relative assistance to each other.
In a very brief time S. S. S. has the
reconstructive 'process so under control
that remarkable changes are obseved. All

top of the wheat a tablespoonful

Is there any danger in eating
flour made from this wheat? Not
one bit. At the 'Agricultural

not threshed for several weeks
after it was harvested and was
seriously damaged when we
threshed it. We then treated it
with carbon-bisfulfide. One hun

There is one caution: Carbon
bisulfide is very inflammable and
no one should strike a match,
smoke or carry a lantern while
in a room where grain is being
treated.
Every farmer should examine
his wheat often and as soon as
weevils appear he should treat
it. It may be necessary to treat
it a second time in a few weeks.
Peas, corn, and other grain can
be treated just as is recommend
ed for wheat. My father always
mixed china-berry leaves with
his wheat. Many believe the
leaves will prevent damage from
weevils. We are testing that
remedy here.
We have found worms in some
flour ground three or four weeks
ago. In sending wheat off to
the mills to be ground into flour
only a few bushels should be
sent at a time.
