Parent-Teacher Meeting
The members of the Parent-
Teacher Association met Wed
nesday afternoon at the school
auditorium. The meeting was
an enthusiastic one and the mem
bers are elated over the fine pros
pects for work this fall and win
ter.

Hugh Hattaway Died
Monday at Pepperton
Hugh, the 8-year-old son of
Mr. I. H. Hattaway of Pepper
ton, died Monday afternoon at 1
o’clock. The funeral was held
Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock
at the home and Rev. Z. E. Bar
ron conducted the services. He
is survived by his parents and a
sister.

The last analysis of Jackson’s
water supply by Dr. Rav C. Wer
ner of the State Board of Health
has been received and the water
is declared to be 0. K. In the
words ot the official report the
filtered water is said to be “ex
cellent.”
