Much interest is centered in
the marriage of Mrs. E. B. Par
tridge and Mr. J. H. Ham, which
occurred at the Baptist church
Thursday afternoon, Sept. 23 at
5:30 o’clock. The church was
beautifully decorated with ferns,

Don t Have Malaria
Cleanse Your Blood
Malaria it a Blood Disease
That Saps Your Strength
You can tell this from the yellow
complexion, the wasted body, sunken
eyes, the dull headache, the feyer
flushes, the terrible tired-feeling and
lack of energy. All this points with
unwavering certainty to bad blood.
Authorities agree that *the Malarial
germ infects the blood. The one treat-
tained by Miss Lucy Goodman at
an informal reception. Truly
there is not a more popular cou
ple anywhere than Judge and
Mrs. Ham, who number their
friends by their acquaintances,
and it is a source of deep regret
to Mrs. Ham’s friends here that
she will go away from Flovilla
to reside.
Mrs. E. F. Lovell has returned
to her home in Savannah after a
pleasant visit with Mrs. A. B.
Wrenn.
Rev. Arthur Jackson, the dear
ly beloved pastor of the Baptist
church, declined the call for an
other year, as he expects to en
ter the Baptist seminary at Louis
ville, Ky., for a three years
course of study. Mr. Jackson
has been universally popular since
he has had charge of the church
and his hosts of friends are sor
ry that he decided to make a
change, yet all good wishes go
with him for his future success.
