Dahlia Farm
Miss Elaine Todd, daughter of

There are at present about 50
trailer pads for small and large
trailers ready for use and over
100 more being built. Each tent
camping pad is equipped with
electricity, running water, and
grill. Pads for house trailers also
have septic tank hookups. There’s
a large comfort station for hot
and cold showers and a coin ope
rated washer and dryer. Another
one will be built in the near fu
ture. There are trails and old
mountain roads for hiking and a
lot of good trout fish to be
caught in nearby mountain
streams or at the 60 ft. water
falls nearby. For those who for
got their fishing poles and don’t
care for the big stream fishing,
there’s a man-made fish out pool
that’s a sure catch for mountain
trout—a guaranteed catch or no
pay—and you don’t need a
license.
Whatever the reason for your
trip, bring a sweater and camera.
It’s all in the shade of Black and
