Stomps
Henry Cos.
By Patrice Marchman
Sports Editor, Devil’s Diary
The Devilettes were defeated
by the Henry County Tornadoes
by the close score of 31-28.
The Devilettes made many mis
takes and it seemed hard for the
girls to score. Denise Davis was
high scorer with 11 points, Inice
Dennard followed with 9 and
Carole Lawrence netted 8. Andrea
Holston, Patrice Marchman and
Doris Greene were able to keep
the Tornadoes down and not one
girl was able to score over 13
points.
Henry County forwards seemed
to have the same trouble scoring
as did Jackson and neither team
played a very good game.
The Devilettes hope to improve
before their next game.
The Jackson Red Devils stomp
ed the Henry County Tornadoes
by a score of 87-68.
