Collision
Wednesday
Hurts Four
A two car collision Wednesday
morning on High Falls Road
shortly after eight o’clock injured
four Butts County youths when
a car driven by Buddy B. Evans
of Jenkinsburg pulled into the
path of the car driven by Wil
liam Charles Oliver, Jr.
The car driven by Oliver was
occupied by Dale Rosser, David
Massey and David Green with the
group enroute to Griffin Tech
where all the passengers are stu
dents. Dale Rosser was admitted
to the Griffin-Spalding County
Hospital with facial and head in
juries. David Massey and David
Green were treated at the Griffin
hospital and released. Oliver was
treated at Sylvan Grove Hospital
and released.
The accident was investigated
by the Butts County Sheriff’s
Department. Deputy Wendell
Cook said Wednesday that IVTr.
Evans was charged with DUI,
driving without license and fail
ing to yield right-of-way.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!
New Policies - Effective January 1, 1971
1* Only one bill will be mailed each month. This means no
second notice will be mailed.
2. Failure to receive bill does not waive payment.
3. Meter will be removed for non payment by meter reader if
previous month’s bill has not been paid.
4. Service charges for non payments, collection of bad checks,
meter testing, and any other services in this category will be
increased to $6.00.
5. Overtime required to reset non payments or for setting meter
on first installation due to fault of applicant will be at the
rate of SB.OO per hour.
6. Minimum bills will be increased to $3.00 per month for 90
KWH on residential rate and 88 KWH on commercial rate.
Security light bills will be increased by SI.OO per month
after one year contract has expired.

policies will be printed in their entirety in the December Issue
of the Rural Georgia. Please read them carefully.

Stewart, 21, of Route 2, Ja bon,
and Roy Lee McElheney, Jr., 20,
of 294 North Benton , creet,
Jackson. Sims and Stewari were
transferred to the Griffin hos
pital.
McDonald of College Park visited
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Avery and
Mr. L. L. Washington Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Rebon Maddox
and Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Stephens
visited the family of Mrs. Ben
Stone in Blue Ridge, Ga. follow
