MRS. BAILEY AND MRS.
MOELCHERT HOSTS AT
SUNDAY SCHOOL PARTY
Mrs. India Bailey and Mrs.
Lou Moelchert entertained the
Fidelis Class of the First Baptist
Church at a lovely Christmas
party December llth at the Moel
chert home.
After the guests had assembled
in the living room Mrs. Polly
Burnside gave an inspiring de
votional. Miss Jessie Sessions
told the history of “Silent Night”
after which everyone joined in
singing this carol. Mrs Van Free
man read a Christmas story and
the group, led by Mrs. Gladys
Wilson, played games suitable to
the occasion. Mrs. Bertha Perdue,
class out-reach director, then
gave a copy of the New Year
Bible verse to each member.
An attractive tray of refresh
ments emphasizing red and green
was served each guest and color
ful bags of candy, made by Mrs.
Bailey were given as favors.
Daintily embroidered finger
tip towels were given the host
esses by Mrs. Freeman. Mrs. Mat
tie Weaver remembered each one
with a miniature box of candy
after which the class presented
their teacher a German china
handpainted cake plate inscribed
with the following: “To Flore
Freeman, from Fidelis Class, De
cember 1970”.
Those enjoying the occasion

Polly Burnside, Ben Moss, Ruby

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jett and
Stephanie will go to Knoxville,
Tennessee Christmas Day to visit
relatives and friends. Following
Christmas Mrs. Jett and Steph
anie will go to Dallas, Texas for
a visit of several days with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. Barton.
Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Cook and
boys will visit her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. John Dykes, in Jackson
ville, Ga. on Christmas Day.
Mr. and Mrs. John Chiappeta,
Angela and Chip had as their
guests during the weekend Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Hancock of
Macon, parents of Mrs. Chiap
peta.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Williams
and Keith will visit their chil
dren, Mr. and Mrs. B. 0 William
son, Christmas Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sark,
Amy and Greg of Orlando, Fla.
are expected to arrive Christmas
Eve for , a visit during the holi
days with their mother, Mrs. Jes
ie Mackey, and other relatives.
NOTICE
