Butts Lions
Enjoy
Ladies Night
At one of the most delightful
and entertaining evenings of the
Butts County Lions Club, the
Lions entertained their Lionesses
last Tuesday at Ladies Night held
at the Falls View Restaurant.
After a delicious steak meal
the group was entertained by the
Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Smith. The
Rev. Mr. Smith is the pastor of
the First Christian Church of
Newnan, and being adept at
singing he led in group singing,
after which Mrs. Smith, who is a
nationally known speaker, gave
her famous and very humorous
rendition of a minister speaking
the first time with a set of new
false teeth. Mrs. Smith is active
in the Pilot International and
will keynote the State Conven
tion in Michigan next week.
All the members of the Lions
agreed that this was a most de
lightful event and was thoroughly
enjoyed by all who attended.

KIDS’ SHOES
Rate of growth, not rate of
wear, determines when to buy
new shoes for children, say Ex

shoes forces a child’s foot to con
form unnaturally to the shape of
the first wearer.
