SEPT. 21. 1972 Girl Scouts Elect Leaders The Girl Scouts met Sunday, September 10th, for the first ex ecutive meeting of the 1972-73 year and extended special thanks to the Jackson Kiwanis Club for sponsoring two girls to camp this summer. In addition, projects were dis cussed with officers and troop leaders elected. These include Miss Connie McCrary, field dl_ rector; Miss Wilhelmena Jones, secretary; Mrs. Nancy Shelby, reporter; Miss Edna Murry, busi ness manager and Mrs. Ruth Ash, cookie chairman. Troop leaders for this year in clude Mrs. Ash, Brownies (2nd and 3rd grades); Mrs. Shelby, Juniors (4th and 6th grades); Miss Jones, Cadet (7th and 9th grades); Miss Vivian Street, Sen iors (10-12th grades).
