T. Long, Mr. J. D. Long and children. Sgt. Long is being transferred to Las Vegas Air Base. Visiting Mrs. D. T. Long and family Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. James Long and Mr. and Mrs. George Long of Forsyth. Mr. Sanford Elliott went by plane to Houston, Tex. Saturday to visit Rev. and Mrs. Kenny Partain and Phil at Crockett, Texas. Mrs. A. C. Freeman and Miss Roxie Smith visited in Atlanta Thursday with Mrs. Sara Devine and Mrs. Lorette Capel. They found Mrs. Capel feeling better and we all are happy to hear the good news. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Funder burk, Jr., John an<L.Amy of Valdosta, and Mr. Cliff Funder burk of Jonesboro spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. J. C. Funderburk, and Mrs. Vivian Hightower. Spend ing Sunday with them were Mrs. Conner Dodson and girls, Patti and Alice of Decatur. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Brown of Griffin and Mr. J. D. Long visited Monday with Mrs. J. D. Long. We wish Mrs. Long a speedy recovery. Mrs. A. P. Gunter of Pitts WEEKEND REVIVAL The Bible Tabernacle on Brownlee Road will hold a weekend revival December 8, 9 and 10th at 7:30 o’clock each evening. Visiting Mrs. Barnes Sunday and Monday were Mrs. Annie Gober and Mrs. J. C. Funderburk. Mrs. Agnes Ball of Jackson spent Monday with Mrs. D. T. Long. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Mayfield, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Mayfield, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shields and John, Mrs. A. P. Gunter and Mrs. M. M. Powell formed a congenial group to attend ordination services of Mr. Henry Gibbs as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Conyers Sunday evening. Hie group visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs, Karen and Damon while in Conyers. Mr. Gibbs is the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Mayfield, Mrs. Gibbs being the former Miss Rosemary Mayfield. We extend congratulations to Mr. Gibbs upon his ordination. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Elliott visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Cook in Jackson.
